Rebar prices in Türkiye were flat at $579-589/ton ex-works excluding 20% VAT as of October 2. Although the continued depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar along with the energy hikes in October led to expectations of an increase in rebar prices, the stagnation in the market caused prices to remain flat except in Izmir.
