According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported approximately 47,000 tons of stainless steel coils an increase of 3% compared to the 2021 half period.
Imports from China reached 203,000 tons, up 52 percent year on year. Turkey imported 126,000 tons from Indonesia, up 293.8 percent year on year. Imports from South Korea fell 38% year on year to 50,000 tons.
