Turkey loses its persistance in rebar prices

Turkish iron and steel market continues to weaken. In the rebar market, some mills had increased their prices by $10 yesterday, while others had reduced their prices by $10. Equilibrium-seeking market turned prices down again.

While iron and steel mills such as İçdaş, Çolakoğlu and Baştuğ announced a price of $690, Habaş stated that they continued with the price of $700, which was announced with an increase of $10 yesterday. Tosyalı Demir Çelik, on the other hand, offered its rebar prices as $680.

Although spot market prices are shaped according to demand, list prices remain flat for now.

The current rebar prices evaluated by www.steelradar.com are as follows;

Istanbul rebar prices $677 / 15.500 TL

İzmir rebar prices $681/ 15.600 TL

Karabuk rebar prices $681 / 15.600 TL

Payas rebar prices $681/ 15,600 TL
