In the week starting September 4th, the downward trend in rebar prices continues. Spot rebar prices in Türkiye fell by 150TL in Izmir and 100TL in Istanbul. Strict credit policies have narrowed the transaction volume in the market.
While rebar selling prices at iron and steel mills hovered in the $580-600 range, weak demand in the spot market continued to push prices down, especially in Izmir and Istanbul.
