The plant will be installed at the new Tubacex facility under construction at the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) in the United Arab Emirates.
The $100 million plant is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2024.
The plant will specialise in the production of threaded OCTG-CRA pipes.
It is known that the construction of the new plant is one of the clauses of the agreement signed between Tubacex and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in 2022. ADNOC's oil and gas business will be the main consumer of the Tubacex plant's products in the UAE.
