Railway shipments of steel from Mechel grew

In June, rail shipments of finished steel products from ChMK PJSC (part of the Mechel Group, Chelyabinsk Region) amounted to 234 thousand tons. In relation to the previous month, their volumes increased by 1%, and year-on-year - by 21%.  

At the same time, deliveries to Russian consumers amounted to 202.4 thousand tons (+6.3% and +33%), and for export - 31.6 thousand tons (-23.4% and -24.6%).

In general, for the period from January to June, shipments reached 1.37 million tons, which is 4% lower than last year. At the same time, for Russian consumers they amounted to 1.112 million tons (-4.5%), and for export - 0.258 million tons (-1%).
