In Turkey, rebar prices were announced after Eid. However, the industry did not find what it expected.
While the market hopes that the sector will move a little after the holiday, there has not been any vitality yet. On the contrary, the negative direction continues in global markets. As Chinese steel prices continue to decline, it has been heard that the latest quotations for import scrap done last week (80:20) at $415 level have dropped $400 gold.
Iron and steel mills continue their prices of $690/ 15,800 TL in the new week. Only İçdaş revised the sale prices of Biga, which was $700 last week, to $690. Habaş A.Ş, located in the Izmir region, announced a price of $ 690 in the morning, and revised its current price to $700 with an increase of $10.
