Vale announced that it will build an integrated green steel industrial complex in Oman. The company signed a land reservation agreement with Oman-based Port of Duqm Company and a memorandum of understanding with Marafiq for the complex.
The complex will cover an area of 6.78 square kilometers in the Duqm Special Economic Zone in Oman, on international trade routes such as India, Africa and GCC countries, and will produce hot briquetted iron and other low carbon steel products.
