Rebar prices continue to decrease in the new week

Uncertainty and weak demand pressure continues in Turkish steel markets before the second round of elections. Rebar prices continue to decrease. Spot rebar prices, which closed at $660 last week, decreased by another $5-10 in the new week.

Spot rebar prices evaluated by www.steelradar.com are as follows;

Istanbul rebar prices 15,300 TL (-100tl) / $653 (-6$)

Izmir rebar prices 15.300 TL (-100tl) / $653 (-6$)

Karabuk rebar prices 15.250 TL (-150tl) / $651 (-8$)

Payas rebar prices 15,100 TL (-100tl) / $645 (-6$)

Factory prices remain flat

Most of the steel producers in Turkey did not change their list sales prices due to lack of demand. Some of the leading producers announced their prices as follows.

Icdas rebar price $660

Kroman rebar price 660$

Habas rebar price 660$

Tosyali rebar price $645-650 (down $10 compared to last week)
