EU hot rolled coil market shows decrease

Central European producers are reported to be offering between 700-740 Euro/mt for HRC delivered to Germany and Northwest Europe.

Offers from Italy were also reported to be around EUR740/mt for Germany delivery.

Local HRC prices in Northwest Europe were assessed at EUR 755/mt EXW Ruhr on 25 May, down by EUR 10 intraday.

Import hot roll prices in Northwest Europe were assessed at EUR 600/mt CIF Antwerp on 25 May, down by EUR 20/mt on the day.

In Southern Europe, local HRC prices were assessed at EUR 700/mt EXW Italy on 25 May.

Import HRC prices in the region were assessed at €605/mt CIF Italy on 25 May, unchanged on the day.
