The European scrap market continues to move.
Scrap prices in Germany and Italy remained unchanged this week. The scrap price in Germany, which was announced as 320 euros last week, remained unchanged this week. In Italy, the price is hovering around 325 euros.
In Benelux, the scrap price, which was announced as 265 euros last week, increased to 280 euros this week.
The increase continues in the Netherlands. The scrap price, which was around $340 last week, was seen at $353 this week.
Rebar prices were volatile.
In Italy, rebar prices were unchanged this week from £630 last week. In Spain, after holding steady at £565 for two weeks, the price decreased to £555 this week. In Germany, the price stands at £590 and in Poland at £605.
HRC and CRC prices did not see much movement.
HRC prices remained stable this week at £665 in Germany and £640 in Italy. In Spain, the HRC price continues to trade at £655.
As for CRC prices, Italy's CRC was unchanged this week from £765 last week. On the other hand, prices are trading at £675 in Spain and £765 in Germany.
Steel plate prices in Europe remained stable this week.
In Italy, steel plate prices were unchanged this week from £780 last week.
In Germany, steel plate prices remained stable at £845.
Wire rod prices in Europe are at £620 in Poland and £590 in Italy.
