Vietnam hot rolled coil market was experiencing a quiet period last week due to the holiday. However, the fact that suppliers were less active due to the long holiday in China have various effects.

It was noted that many buyers want to restart their purchases of commercial-quality hot rolled coils.

It is stated that companies have started to order Q235 and mostly Q195 quality 3mm base thick hot coils from China at $530-535/ton CFR Vietnam.

According to the statements made by Kallanish, the buyers of the relevant October/November period cargoes consist of companies all over the country and even buyers from every country, including North America.

Autumn Festival (Zhongqiu Jie), which started on September 29, will end on Monday. Since China, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand are known to be participating countries, celebrating these special days, Far Eastern markets are under influence by this holiday.
