Rebar prices in Turkey decreased by another $3-10 the previous day after Kardemir's billet prices fell sharply. While the negative outlook in the iron and steel markets continued with the scrap connections made, the increases made by the mills today and the progress of scrap purchases brought a small movement to the market. The first announced prices in the spot market in Turkey were flat in Izmir and Karabuk, while increases were seen in Istanbul and Payas.
