Prices in the iron and steel markets continued to rise today. The Central Bank announced its highly anticipated interest rate decision. The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) did not change the interest rates at its fifth meeting of the year. The exchange rate, which priced the decision beforehand, increased a little and traded at 16.42 levels.
Rebar prices on May 26, 2022 increased by 100-150 TL. However, according to the demand traded in the market for two days, the transactions were weaker today.

Istanbul iron prices increased by 150 TL to 14.750 TL
İzmir iron prices increased by 150 TL to 14.450 TL
Karabük iron prices increased by 150 TL to 14.550 TL
Payas iron prices were announced as 14.500 TL with an increase of 100 TL.
