Türkiye's rebar exports increased by 63.7% year on year in June

Türkiye's rebar exports increased by 63.7% year on year in June, while rising by 12.8% in the first six months of the year.

SteelRadar's compilation of data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) shows that Türkiye's rebar exports in June increased by 63.7% year on year, rising from 293,064 tonnes to 479,674 tonnes.

Compared with May, exports increased by 68.6%.

In the January-June period, total rebar exports increased by 12.8% year on year, rising from 2,007,078 tonnes to 2,263,812 tonnes.

During this period, Yemen was Türkiye's largest rebar export destination. Exports to Yemen increased by 20% to 441,390 tonnes, while the State of Palestine with 190,212 tonnes, Peru with 146,155 tonnes, Albania with 102,983 tonnes, and Georgia with 101,074 tonnes ranked among the top five export markets.

In June, Türkiye's largest rebar export destination was again Yemen, with 98,653 tonnes. Yemen was followed by the State of Palestine with 32,799 tonnes, Peru with 23,224 tonnes, Albania with 21,955 tonnes, and Georgia with 21,279 tonnes.
