Turkish steel producers have raised rebar prices amid rising scrap costs. According to market reports, Icdas reportedly reached a deal for HMS 1/2 80:20 European scrap at $373/ton CFR yesterday.
Although Icdas' rebar prices for Biga remained unchanged at $575/ton, producers in the Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean regions increased their prices by another $5/ton. Accordingly, Gebze producers announced a selling price of $585/ton, Izmir producers $570/ton and Iskenderun producers $590/ton.

Istanbul rebar prices 19,900 TL (+100) / 697,95 USD (+3,51)
Izmir rebar prices 19.350 TL (+150) / 678,66 USD (+5,26)
Karabuk rebar prices 19,700 TL (+100) / 690,93 USD (+3,51)
Payas rebar prices 20.000 TL (+100) / 701,45 USD (+3,51)
