On the first day of the new week, rebar prices were announced. While iron prices on March 21, 2022 remained flat in Istanbul and Izmir regions, they increased by 100 TL in Karabuk and Pyas regions.
While price increases are expected at the factories, especially in İçdaş and İdç, the factories that said they could not see enough demand reported that they continued with their prices of $950.
On the scrap side, while domestic scrap prices continued to decline, it was heard that the last booking was made at $655 for imported scrap.
The traded rebar prices that we publish on a daily basis are explained as follows;
Istanbul iron prices do not change, 15.900 TL
Izmir iron prices did not change, 15.700 TL
Karabük iron prices increased by 100 TL to 15,600 TL.
Payas iron prices increased by 100 TL and were announced as 15,500 TL.
