The European Statistical Office has published the construction production data of the European Union and Eurozone for July.
According to these data, construction production in the 19-member Eurozone increased by 0.3 percent in July compared to June. Construction production increased by 1.5 percent compared to July 2021.
In the EU, on the other hand, construction production increased by 0.2 percent in July compared to the previous month and became 1.3 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
Among EU countries, the highest increase in construction production in July compared to the previous month was seen in Spain with 6.7 percent, Hungary with 5.7 percent and Slovakia with 3.1 percent. The highest decrease was experienced in Austria and Slovenia with 4.2 percent, Czech Republic with 2.9 percent and Sweden with 1.3 percent.
