On the last day of the week, rebar prices were announced. While iron prices on 18 February 2022 decreased by 50 TL in İzmir and Payas regions, they stabilized horizontally in Istanbul and Karabük regions. Factories in İzmir announced prices in the range of $740-750, but discounts were applied to prices that could not find demand during the day. Despite the producer's prices, which did not go below 11,800 TL even with discounts, the trader's prices were 11,750 TL. Similar price policies were experienced in the Payas region.
The traded rebar prices that we publish on a daily basis are explained as follows;
Istanbul iron prices 11.900 TL
Izmir iron prices 11,800 TL
Karabuk iron prices 11.700 TL
Payas iron prices were announced as 11,800 TL.
