Scrap prices did not remain stable
The US scrap of HMS 1/2 80:20 closed the last week with $ 462. The prices that entered the new week with a decrease were announced as $ 455.00 on 23th March, 2023.
HMS1 scrap prices increased by $43 to $455 from $412 last Friday.
Pig iron prices increased
U.S. pig iron prices increased to $570 from $555 last week, increased by $15.
Flat steel markets have started to experience the expected increase
Hot Rolled Coil (HRC) prices increased from $1,005 to $1142.
Cold Rolled Coil (CRC) prices increased from $1,260 to $1288.

Brazil revised slab and pig iron prices
