Vallourec, a multinational manufacturing company headquartered in Meudon, France, has announced that it has received a purchase order to provide the German company Wintershall Dea with approximately 3,000 tonnes of pipe, including corrosion-resistant alloy materials, fittings, accessories and related services. These pipes will be used for the Dvalin North deepwater gas development project in the Norwegian North Sea.
Vallourec will also provide the environmentally friendly CLEANWELL® dope-free solution. The pipes will be manufactured at Vallourec's facilities in Brazil and France and will be delivered by the end of 2024.
