Iran's semi-finished production witnesses impressive growth, surpassing 30 million tons in 2020. According to recent data, the production of semi-finished products in the country demonstrated steady growth from 2013 to 2020, marking a substantial increase from 16 million 100 thousand tons in 2013 to an impressive 30 million 250 thousand tons in 2020.

Experts attribute this remarkable achievement to a combination of strategic investments, modernization of production facilities, and a focus on technological advancements. Iran's steel industry witnessed a dynamic shift in production trends over the past two years. In 2021, the nation's steel production recorded a slight decline, reaching 27.9 million tons, representing a reduction of approximately two million tons compared to the previous year. However, the following year, 2022 marked a promising rebound as the upward trajectory in production resumed.
