While the iron and steel industry continues its downward momentum, rebar prices continue to receive its share of this decline. The heard scrap deals and the demand for exports, which have not yet formed, are driving prices down. With only a few days left until the elections, the demand continued to shrink while the domestic market remained calm.
After the reflections of energy costs are seen in the latest statements, the direction of movement of prices will become clear.
It is foreseen that the buoyancy in the domestic market will positively affect the global market if the restoration works expected to take place after the elections are started quickly.
