Taiwanese CSC starts with a raise in the new month

Offers for hot rolled coil continued to increase in Asia driven by optimistic macroeconomic fundamentals. Meanwhile, iron ore and coal prices also continued to reach high levels. Chinese steelmakers further increased their hot rolled coil offers in response. Vietnam's Hoa Phat Steel also raised its prices continuously.

The market participants anticipated that Asia's major steelmakers would follow the offer to increase their offers as well. CSC is expected to realize its February uptrend.
