At the end of the first quarter of 2023, the EU Wire Rod quotas for Switzerland, Moldova, United Kingdom and Turkey were evaluated by the SteelRadar team. According to the information received from official sources of the countries, the current analyzes were made as follows;

The first quarter of 2023 has come to an end. EU Wire Rod quotas varied by country at the end of the first quarter. According to the analysis, EU Wire Rod quotas for countries could not be completed at the end of the first quarter. The current situation analyzes of EU Wire Rod quotas for Switzerland, Moldova, United Kingdom and Turkey, which are expected to gain momentum in the second quarter, are as follows:

From the 283.883/t quota opened for Switzerland, 156,334/t was transferred and 44.492/t was used and 239.391/t remained. EU Swiss Wire Rod quotas, which were slow at the end of the first quarter, are expected to gain momentum as of the second quarter.

A quota of 134,962/t was opened for Moldova. 69.828/t of this amount was transferred. It was recorded that 106,405/t quota remained by using 28,557/t of the current quota.

From the 394,480/t quota reserved for the United Kingdom, 79,376/t was used with the transferred quota of 221.930/t. The remaining quota amount was 315.104/t.

34,491/t was transferred from the 145.328/t quota opened for Turkey. 19.242/t was used within the current quota. 126,086/t remained.
