It is reported that buyers are turning to imports as producers in Northern Europe are offering prices between 900-1100/t euros for steel bar.
It has been announced that buyers will be able to import steel bars from Algeria at a price of 805/t euros.
Another group of buyers reported that Turkish producers have decreased their steel bar prices below 805/t euros.
Buyers said that their other options are Austria with 820/t euros and Italy with 810/t euros.
