Rebar prices continue to increase in the Iskenderun region of Turkey. In the new week, rebar prices in Istanbul, Izmir and Karabuk were flat while rebar prices in Payas increased by 200tl.
Producer-based prices continued at $590, while the latest US scrap connections pushed prices above the $370 mark. The last connections were heard as follows;
Sims USA - Marmara factory $370 for 80:20
Sims USA - Aegean region factory $371.50 for 80:20
