Local scrap prices in Türkiye have continued to rise strongly this week. European suppliers' price targets for HMS 1&2 80:20 are seen at $385/ton cfr Türkiye. While the target prices point to $400/ton for scrap, winter conditions are expected to have a negative impact on the supply situation.
Producers continue to raise their prices gradually while demand in the local market remains stable. However, no price decrease is foreseen amid rising costs.
