China is rapidly filling EU steel quotas!

China maintains its leadership in steel production by rapidly filling the European Union's steel quotas. According to SteelRadar's weekly EU quota assessment, EU quota filling rates appear to have remained flat in the third week of October. However, China continues to fill the steel quotas provided to the EU at a rapid pace.

China is rapidly filling EU steel quotas!

EU steel quotas continue to follow a stable course in the third week of October, during the 1 October - 31 December filling period. Political factors and economic fluctuations around the world cause producing countries to be cautious about using their steel quotas. However, China continues to use quotas, defying this trend.

While some countries are fully using their quotas, others are having difficulty increasing their usage rates. China is a country that uses all of its quotas. China is the country that uses 127,995 tons of 4B metallic coated sheet and 6,987 tons of sheet piling quota, and India uses all 31,678 tons of stainless bars and light profiles.

This filling success of China is especially valid for many steel products such as 3D electrical sheet, stainless HR quarto plate, merchant bar and light sections starting quotas.

China has achieved 88.83% of its 30,884-ton quota for 3D electrical steel,

12.21% of the 4,907 ton quota for stainless HR quarto plate,

45.85% of the initial quota of 140,020 tons for merchant bar and light sections,

1.37% of its 1,606-ton quota for stainless wire rod,

13.91% of its 1,503-ton quota for railway materials,

17.03% of the 922-ton quota for stainless seamless pipes,

58.81% of the 8,058-ton quota for welded pipes,

69.85% of the 38,319 tons quota for seamless pipes,

9.66% of the 26,863 tons quota for cold finished bars,

It has filled 10.11% of its 78,820-ton quota for non alloy wire.

China's achievement of high filling rates for a number of steel products, especially Steel, highlights the country's strength in global steel production. Other countries tend to use quotas more carefully. This difference in the occupancy rates of EU steel quotas provides an important example of how global economic fluctuations and political factors affect the steel industry. China's growth in the steel industry and its rapid filling of quotas show that it is an effective player in the international market.

EU quota usage rates of countries are as follows:
