Ferrous scrap imports increased by 20% monthly in July'21

Turkey, the world's largest importer of ferrous scrap, increased its imports by 20% to 2.35 million tons in July'21 compared to 1.96 million tons in June.

The Netherlands was the top exporter to Turkey with 0.37 million tons in the month, followed by Russia and Lithuania with 0.23 million tons and 0.21 million tons, respectively.

However, annual imports remained stable at 2.35 million tons in July.
