Chinese stainless steel production down

For the January-July 2022 period, China's stainless steel consumption and production fell by 5%. Stainless steel production was approximately 16.35 million tons this year, and stainless steel consumption was 14 million tons compared to the same period last year. Its exports, on the other hand, increased by 10.6% annually and reached 2.42 million tons.
