Will rebar prices hit $800 ?

Rebar prices are down another $20 today. Factories went down to $820 and traders to $830. However, the decrease in TL-based prices was limited with the increase in the exchange rate. Expectations are that iron prices will reach $800.

Import scrap prices hit $480 under pressure. Sector representatives state that the Russian billet entering the market has suppressed the scrap prices up to these figures.

Istanbul iron prices decreased by 100 TL to 15,100 TL

İzmir iron prices decreased by 100 TL to 15,000 TL

Karabük iron prices decreased by 100 TL to 15,000 TL

Payas iron prices remained unchanged and were announced as 14.800 TL.
