Which companies in Iran produce iron ore?

Sangan Iron and Steel Company operates with a capacity of 5 million tons of concentrate and 5 million tons of pellets.

Senabad Industry and Mining company, which owns 67% of Khuzestan Steel's shares, supplies the crude steel of Khuzestan Steel with a production capacity of 5.2 million tons of concentrate and 5.2 million tons of pellets.

Opal Parsian Sangan Industry and Mining Inc. operates a concentrate production facility with an annual capacity of 6.2 million tons and a pellet production unit with an annual capacity of 5 million tons. In addition, the construction of the concentrate unit with a capacity of 4.2 million tons has been started.

Sharq Kaveh iron and steel company has the capacity to produce 5.2 million tons of concentrate and 5.2 million tons of pellets.

Horasan iron and steel company, 57% of which is owned by Horasan Steel, is in the production phase with a concentrated production capacity of 2.5 million tons.

The Chadormello mine is considered one of the main sectors of iron ore and steel in the country, with a reserve of approximately 50 million tons, as well as obtaining mineral mass in the D19 mine with a reserve of 100 million tons. 16 million tons of iron ore with an average iron grade of 3.55% is extracted from the Chadormello mines every year.
