The trade disputes regulator has recommended the UK government to extend the antidumping measures for heavy plate from China for five years.
Fees are between 65.1-73.7%. It was reported that it was heard in March 2022, so after the extension, it will be valid until March 2027. According to foreign sources, the UK has been importing less than 100 tons of plate per year from China in recent years.
Sources have also launched an investigation against stainless steel products imported from China. Tariffs on imports were set by the European Union before Britain left. Among the information received, there is also the ongoing negotiations.
