It was announced that Posco Assan TST Çelik Sanayi A.Ş., which was established with the partnership of South Korea's Posco and Kibar Holding and continues to operate in the Kocaeli Asım Kibar Organised Industrial Zone, has shipped two million tonnes of products in the last 10 years since it started production.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the production site with the participation of employees, Jongduk Suh, CEO of POSCO ASSAN TST, said: "We are proud and happy to produce a difficult product such as stainless steel, which was previously completely imported, and to make Turkey a stainless steel exporting country."
"With POSCO ASSAN TST, there has been an important flow of information about stainless steel from South Korea to Turkey. We have completed our 10th year of production. A large number of Turkish engineers and operators are highly experienced in stainless steel. We have confidence in Turkey's human resources. We believe that together we will achieve much better results in the coming period.
