Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 29.1% in June compared to May!

According to foreign trade data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK), Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 23% in the January-June period compared to the same period last year, from 12 million 481 thousand tons to 9 million 610 thousand tons.

According to foreign trade data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK), Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 23% in the January-June period compared to the same period last year, from 12 million 481 thousand tons to 9 million 610 thousand tons.

In the first month of the year, Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 47% compared to the same month last year, from 2 million 574 thousand tons to 1 million 359 thousand tons.

Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 35.5% in February compared to February last year

In February, Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 9.6% compared to the first month of the year to 1 million 228 thousand tons.

In March, Turkey's scrap imports increased by a record 90.6% compared to February, reaching the highest figure of the January - June period

However, it increased by 14.4% compared to March last year to 2 million 341 thousand tons.

Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 26% in April compared to March

Accordingly, Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 19% yoy in April from 2 million 138 thousand tons to 1 million 729 thousand tons.

Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 22.5% in May compared to May last year

In May, Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 0.1% compared to April to 1 million 727 thousand tons.

In June, Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 23% compared to June last year, from 1 million 590 thousand tons to 1 million 225 thousand tons.
