Turkey's imported scrap prices increased

The increase in transportation costs has led to an increase in the prices of imported scrap in Turkey.

Turkey's imported scrap prices increased
Weak demand in the local and export market affected final steel prices. Last week, imported scrap prices were 410 USD tons per CFR. This week, it reached 415 USD/ton. 
Rebar prices decreased by 10-20 USD per ton in contrast to imported scrap and amounted to 690-700 USD/ton per FOB, while wire rod prices were 720-730 USD/ton per FOB.
