US iron ore price increased

US HMS ½ (80:20) scrap closed at $403. Scrap prices, which entered the new week with a decrease, were announced at $390.00.
HMS1 scrap prices decreased from $395 last week to $388 at the start of this week.
Pig iron and flat steel prices remained stable
The US pig iron price for the new week was $570.00, the hot rolled coil (HRC) price was $1,211.00 and the cold rolled coil (CRC) price was $1,365.00.
Australia's coking coal prices decreased
Australia's coking coal prices started the new week at $231, down by $6.
Iron ore prices rose from $103.55 to $107.40.
Brazilian slab prices decreased
Brazil's slab prices, announced earlier this week, decreased from $860.00 to $837.00.
The iron ore price held steady at $132.15 and pig iron at $522.
