The US Department of Commerce has announced the preliminary results of its administrative review of the anti-dumping duty on Turkish rebar from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. According to this preliminary ruling, Turkish rebar was being sold at a price less than its normal value.
During the review, it was determined that Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.Ş., manufacturer and exporter, did not make sales less than normal value. It was also determined that Habaş Sinai ve Tıbbi Gazlar İstihsal Endüstrisi A.Ş. did not make shipments during the period.
While the estimated weighted average dumping margin for Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.Ş. was set at 1.13%, the dumping margin for Kaptan Demir was determined as 5,79%, and for İçdaş, Sami Soybaş Demir Sanayi and Diler Dış Ticaret as 3.92%.
Unless stated otherwise, the U.S. Department of Commerce plans to issue the final results of the investigation within 120 days of these preliminary results.
