Shock movement in iron prices!

Markets are witnessing a mixed day today. It has been reported that a producer in the Payas region has purchased Russian billet at $800CIF. Panicked iron and steel sellers lowered their prices. However, the buyer side follows a wait-and-see policy with the expectation that the price will decrease further. The factories, on the other hand, stand upright, arguing that if scrap prices do not fall, the expected decline will not occur.

Istanbul iron prices decreased by 300 TL to 15,700 TL.

İzmir iron prices decreased by 250 TL to 15,550 TL.

Karabük iron prices decreased by 150 TL to 15,450 TL.

Payas iron prices decreased by 150 TL and were announced as 15,450 TL.
