The trial batch was successfully tested at the LG Electronics RUS plant in the Moscow Region. A multi-stage quality assessment confirmed that the properties of the steel and the quality of the coating comply with LG Electronics RUS standards.
NLMK Lipetsk has a product specifically designed for LG Electronics RUS and specializes in a pre-painting process to provide greater flexibility and rigidity.
NLMK and LG Electronics RUS plan to start normal shipments soon. This general agreement will be the first direct supply contract for painted steel signed by LG Electronics RUS with a local Russian manufacturer.
