Russian stainless steel imports amounted to about 21,700 tons in February 2023, decreased by 37.5% from January and by 53% compared to February 2022.
Imports of cold-rolled stainless steel declined by about 29%, imports of hot-rolled stainless steel by 48%, imports of welded pipes by 25%, seamless pipe imports by 55.4% and imports of long products by 49%.
Stainless steel imports from China accounted for 76.2%.
