Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK), one of Russia's four largest steel companies, reported that iron ore production in the third quarter of this year was about 4.1 million tons, down by 15% from the same period a year ago and this year from the previous quarter.
Among them, the production of iron ore pellets was about 1.5 million tons, the production of powdered iron ore was about 2.4 million tons and the production of sintering ore was 260,000 tons.
In terms of sales, NLMK sold about 4.1 million tons of iron ore in the third quarter, down by 16% from the previous quarter and 14% y-o-y.
