Rebar prices in the United Arab Emirates domestic market do not tend to improve due to excessive inventory. Items that were overstocked in the previous month, especially in the Abu Dhabi region, are being pulled back despite the fact that traders compete in their domestic market and do not overstock. Traders made the purchase in February with the global price increase of rebar.
Benchmarket's average retail price of rebar is 2,480-2,500 per tonne dirhams ($675-681) and 2,430-2,450 dirhams per tonne were reliably made in second-class factories. Prices are exempt from VAT and the price gap is not allowed to widen any further.
In February, 32,000 tons of rebar was offered for sale at a price of 2,290/t cpt ($623) tons, and all reservations were reliably distributed among customers. The delivery price of rebar in Abu Dhabi is AED 2,448/t, while it is AED 2,454/t to Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.
