The prices of rebar in Turkish steel factories continue to decrease. With decreasing demand, the price of rebar is losing value.
Last week, producer prices, which were at the level of $750, decreased to the range of $715-$730 this week. While Istanbul factories offer prices of $730, a factory in Izmir sold yesterday by having request from $ 715. The same factory announced a list price of $730 today and stated that it could offer discounts up to $720 based on demand.
However, market are considered that the prices will continue to decrease.
