According to the data announced by Destatis in Germany, industrial orders decreased more than expected in July. In August, orders in the manufacturing sector decreased by 11.7 percent compared to the previous month according to seasonally and calendar adjusted data. Economists were expecting a monthly decrease of 4.0 per cent.
The annual decrease was recorded as 10.5 per cent. There was also a significant decrease in orders from abroad, decreasing by 12.9 per cent.
