In Northwest Europe, local hot roll prices were assessed at €770/mt ex Ruhr, down €20/mt per day.
Last week, integrated producers in Northwest Europe informed their customers that they will continue to offer September rolls to the market in June.
Meanwhile, buyers are refraining from making new purchases as they anticipate lower local prices.
In Southern Europe, local hot roll prices were assessed unchanged at €750/mt ex Italy on 15 May.
