Japan's Ambassador to Türkiye Tamura Masami visits Tosyalı Toyo facility

Japan's Ambassador to Türkiye, Tamura Masami, visited the Tosyalı Toyo facility in Osmaniye, the largest Turkish-Japanese joint venture in Türkiye, and met with company officials. During the visit, the parties exchanged views on strengthening economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement released by Tosyalı Holding, the visit included discussions on Tosyalı Toyo's production operations, technological infrastructure, and the current stage of the strategic partnership between Türkiye and Japan.

Commenting on the visit, Tosyalı Holding Chairman Fuat Tosyalı stated that international partnerships are strengthened not only through commercial relations but also through mutual trust, shared values, a long-term perspective, and a culture of producing together. He emphasized that the long-standing cooperation between the Turkish and Japanese industries continues to create sustainable value for both countries.

The company recalled that the Tosyalı Toyo joint venture, established in 2012, has now exceeded USD 1 billion in total investment, operates with an annual rolling capacity of 1.2 million mt, and exports to more than 80 countries. It also noted that, with its advanced production technologies and high value-added products, Tosyalı Toyo has become one of the leading flat steel production facilities in both Türkiye and the region.

The statement also emphasized that Tosyalı will continue its efforts to further strengthen the economic and industrial cooperation between Türkiye and Japan and will continue reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two countries through its sustainable production approach and long-term investments.
