Kardemir became the 9th largest industrial organization in the Aegean Region

Kardemir strengthened its position among the largest steel producers in the Aegean Region by rising to 9th place in EBSO's 2024 list.

Kardemir became the 9th largest industrial organization in the Aegean Region

Kardemir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. ranked 9th based on “Sales from Production” in the list “Top 100 Industrial Enterprises of the Aegean Region 2024” announced by the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO), strengthening its position among the region's largest steel producers. While the company draws attention with its domestic production capacity and success in exports, it continues its growth in the industrial field.

The company announced the news as follows:

"We are proud to have risen to 9th place on the “Top 100 Industrial Enterprises of the Aegean Region 2024” list, announced by the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO) based on “Sales from Production”.

We will continue to strive for better as we enhance our domestic production capacity and expand our exports."

In the list announced according to EBSO's 2024 data, Kardemir ranked 9th with net sales from production of TRY 18 billion 392 million, while Izmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş., operating in the same sector, ranked 4th with sales from production of TRY 36 billion 506 million. These data show that the steel industry in the region continues to grow with strong players. Among the other large industrial enterprises that made the list, STAR Rafineri A.Ş. ranked first, TÜPRAŞ İzmir Rafineri A.Ş. ranked second and Petkim Petrokimya Holding A.Ş. ranked third.
