The report stated that Iran could take tough regional measures in response to what it described as ongoing ceasefire violations.
According to the report, Iranian negotiators will refrain from engaging in any diplomatic contacts or message exchanges with the United States going forward. It was added that this position is linked to Israel’s military operations in Lebanon and Gaza.
The report also highlighted Israel’s operations against Hezbollah forces in Lebanon and stated that “no dialogue will take place” unless the Israeli government ends its military actions in both Lebanon and Gaza and withdraws from the occupied territories.
Among the claims cited by Tasnim were the possible complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the implementation of new measures at other strategic transit points, including the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The report noted that the Bab el-Mandeb Strait is a critical trade route connecting the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
The report further alleged that groups referred to as the “Axis of Resistance” are preparing a large-scale retaliation against Israel and its supporters.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the developments also affected financial markets, with oil prices rising by more than 7% following the reports.
